Margot + Jeff | New Hampshire Wedding at Home Hill Inn

by Emily Pogozelski

Margot and Jeff celebrated their marriage with close family and friends last weekend at the elegant Home Hill Inn, in Plainfield, New Hampshire. We flew up for the festivities and had an amazing time– every time we turned around there was another amazing handmade detail to photograph, and laughter and friendly smiles were everywhere. Margot and Jeff asked everyone on their guest list to wear a “touch of purple”, which gave the wedding such a great atmosphere… purple everywhere! (Especially great in the “everyone” photo, where we got a group shot of all of the wedding party and guests together… so fun!)

We loved the “love birds”, the pinwheels, the touches of purple, the casually sophisticated atmosphere of the venue, the flower girls and ring bearer (he had a firetruck for a ring pillow!), Margot’s freckles, how fun the DJs were — and we were thrilled that the happy couple braved putting their wedding clothes back on the next day for a day-after session in Hanover and other surrounding towns. (That’s our next blog post, by the way!)

Please click below to see more of our favorites from the wedding day– we had so much trouble narrowing down the ones we loved! Many more to come– click here to sign up to be notified when the rest of the images are available in Margot+Jeff’s Wedding Gallery. Thanks to everyone for being so great— and we wish the happy couple a wonderful second reception this weekend in New Jersey!

Great photos of a wedding party where everybody had a great time. Also, the bride and groom look like the two happiest people in the world.

Not to say we aren’t gorgeous (yeah, we are), but Em & Steve you make us look like royalty! Thank you for capturing our special day–you made it even better with your presence because you are not only amazing photographers with a great eye for beauty, but a wonderful, generous couple that added a touch of extra flare to our wedding. We love you! xoox

I love the photos of you guys with the tall trees as a backdrop. Despite the towering height of the forest, all I could focus on were you guys — so beautiful!

These wonderful photographs transport me to the happy event. Thank you for sharing them with me.
Margot, you look fabulous and I finally get to see Jeff.
Who would have guessed that physics and pastry are a great combination? – I learn something new every day.
With all good wishes for your partnership in life.

Could not have asked for two better people for the wedding. You brought a personality that made you feel like old friends, which reflects in your photos. You were perfect.

Since February 2008 I knew you were meant for each other. I watched the video and amazingly the photos captured everything and much more. This was the most creative wedding ever. Your photographer did an extra-ordinary job. The pictures will be a forever memory. I “love” the horse photo! Love to both of you!

Love it!! Photos are breathtaking — makes it look like the couple got married in a fairy tale! Well, it really was like one, since the heroine and her Prince Charming are living happily ever after. :)

Love all of the pictures! Everything came together so well and it was so uniquely ‘you’! The photographers did a great job bringing it all to life, and I love the introduction – it really depicts in writing how special the day was and how they understood that. My favorites are Margot in the mirror, Margot & her dad, the kiss, walking down the road, the horse and of course the final party pic. I don’t this happiness could be summed up any better in photography.

Emily and Steve – these photos are simply amazing! Though I do have to say, I think my favorite photo is any one in which the bouquet looks good – I am NEVER putting “florist” on my resume.

Oh my goodness. I still have tears in my eyes from the absolute beauty of the wedding and the look of true and complete happiness on your faces. I wish you both the happiness that comes with being long lived with your best friend, and I wish you a lifetime of passion to see you through to old age. I pray that when your children come along, no matter how much you love them, you will still love each other more. God bless and keep you both, and hold your love in the center of His heart where it will last for all time.
