As many of you already know, I was called out of town unexpectedly last week to be with my family. My grandfather in Vermont died on Friday, with family and at home. He was an amazing man and I have many wonderful memories of being with him. I wanted to share two portraits I made while in college. I had asked him not to smile, as these were supposed to be very serious photos… but I think I see a bit of hidden humor in his eyes.
