We love our clients, and we love their weddings; from the most intimate elopement to the craziest blowout party, each event signifies families and friends coming together to celebrate the union of a couple they love to pieces. Natalie + Tim’s elegant black tie ball was no exception. Every part of the day was filled with laughter and smiles, friends and family there to help and witness. We knew when we photographed this beautiful couple in New York last fall (see their engagement session here) that their wedding day would be exceptional, and we were so right. Their kind and gracious natures touched us right from the start, so we weren’t surprised when their families and friends were cut from the same cloth; and wow, these guys know how to throw a party! The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables (Miami) was a stunning setting for their day, with Gesu Catholic Church serving as the meaningful venue for their post-sunset ceremony. The rest of the evening flew by in a flash of candles, white flowers, sparkles, and feather boas.
Wait, feather boas?
Just around the time most wedding receptions would be winding down, guests trickling away and venues starting to clean up, La Hora Loca (The Crazy Hour) began with a bang. Natalie + Tim led the way with beautiful masquerade masks, boas, and flamenco dancers who taught anyone brave enough how to get crazy on the dance floor. (You can probably tell that this was pretty fun to photograph!)
This blog post was impossible to cut down, so click below for our [many] favorites from Natalie + Tim’s wedding day, and click here to be notified when their full gallery is available (8-10 weeks after the wedding day). We hope you enjoy the images as much as we do! :-) (While you’re at it, check this out… they were in the New York Times the day after their wedding, with a photo by the Pogos!)
Thank you so much to everyone who showed us so much kindness and friendship during Natalie + Tim’s wedding! We hope to see you all again soon. Please leave some comment love below! xoxo – Em + Steve
