Our 4th of July holiday weekend kicked off with Mai-Vi + Paul’s intimate wedding in Boca Raton on July 3rd. We were blown away by the relaxed atmosphere of the small group of relatives and close friends, and felt immediately welcome. Mai-Vi started her day by going on a “fun run” with her girls (“just ten miles”– wow!), and then settled into her air conditioned suite at the Boca Raton Resort + Club to get ready.…

We knew from the moment we met Melanie + Alex that they were going to have a fun wedding… and we probably should have guessed after shooting their engagement session that they were going to look amazing as bride and groom! After a really rainy week everyone was relieved to see the forecast for Saturday; sunny and dry. It was hot (this is Florida, after all), but a refreshing breeze kept the temperature at bay.…

An event eleven years in the making (which is conveniently their hashtag: #11yearsinthemaking), Tina + Angelo officially tied the knot last Saturday in sparklingly beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. This was a true destination wedding; not a single guest or family member was a local (even we came from Florida!). Charleston is a very special place for Tina + Angelo, as he spent his formative years at the prestigious Citadel, and after years of spending time…

Julie + Brian planned one of the most laid back, relaxing weddings we’ve been to… but how could it be anything but relaxing at a beautiful resort in the US Virgin Islands? We joined the happy couple and a small group of close family and friends for a weekend celebration of Julie + Brian’s love and marriage at the Sugar Bay Resort + Spa on St. Thomas. The weather looked threatening leading up to the…

Jessica and David were among my first clients, way back before Pogo Photo, before Steve, before Florida, in the early years of my college studies at SCAD. I met Jessica years before that, when she was directing local plays in Vermont and cast me as Celia in As You Like It (and we both discovered that acting—and memorizing lines—were not my strong points, though it was a fun experience). Far, far away, Jessica met David…

The radar looked dismal. We thought our lucky streak of avoiding rain was about to end, so we packed extra rain gear and brainstormed (get it? Brainstormed? haha! -Em) ideas for being creative even in awful weather. And then somehow… it held off through almost the entirety of Tiffany + Mike’s wedding day. We loved spending time with the great group of friends they have (both in the wedding party and on the guest list),…

We are so looking forward to Krista and Mark’s wedding next year! We met up with them in Palm Beach Gardens during a blustery November afternoon for their engagement portraits. We absolutely love how this couple makes each other smile, laugh, and light up with happiness. Thank you for choosing us to be your photographers and for sharing your New York love story with us (hint: it has something to do with a pizza parlor!).

Emily had the pleasure of joining Miles and his parents for a session in the park recently. He’s at such a great age– every activity is filled with wonder, and nothing can make him laugh like Mom and Dad! We joined Nichole + Jason for their wedding on 11.11.11 last week… this couple knows how to throw a party! From their beautiful fall theme to the intimate courtyard ceremony their friends and family loved every minute of this happy couple’s wedding.

Amber + Mark joined us for a Day After session to celebrate their one year anniversary. When we were scouting locations recently this place just called out to us as the perfect setting for Amber’s poofy, layered dress.

Ashley and Mac were married last Saturday during what was predicted to be an incredibly stormy day (as in Tropical Stormy). Astonishingly the rain and wind managed to hold off during the exact moments we needed to be outside, so we all stayed comfortably dry and we were still able to head to the portrait location Ashley and Mac were looking forward to using. (Thanks to whoever is in charge of weather!) We were touched…

We were so happy when Margot and Jeff decided they wanted a day-after session; we love doing these. It’s so fun to be able to find new and interesting locations for portraits without the time constraints of the wedding day!

We are so excited to photograph Ashley & Mac’s wedding later this fall!  They have such a fun chemistry together… always laughing and smiling at each other.  We decided to try styling their engagement session as a picnic in a field; we had to cancel our first try because of threatening weather, but finally managed to get together with gorgeous light!  Ashley & Mac are both big Scrabble fans, so it seemed only appropriate for…

Anna and Jim were married on a brilliantly sunny morning last weekend in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Surrounded by their children, family and friends, the happy couple exchanged vows at the beautiful and historic Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, then continued their celebration at the Sailfish Club on Palm Beach Island.  We loved the bridal party– Jim’s daughter Bailey was the maid of honor and his son Carriger the best man; Anna’s two sons Jack and…

Usually Emily does the blog posts, but this one is all mine! Matt and Mel tied the knot last Sunday at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by family and friends from across Florida and around the country.  A cool, refreshing breeze from the lake blew through the Spanish moss covered trees, complimenting the sunshine and clear blue sky, all of which combined to give the couple a perfect backdrop for the day.  After getting…

We joined Alicia & Ryan for their wedding in South Florida at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Pembroke Pines, followed by a beautiful reception at Signature Grand in Davie.  Ryan’s family was also celebrating the 100th birthday of Uncle Frank, who had his own cake and even made a speech.  What a fun joint celebration!  Thank you to Alicia, Ryan and their families for making us feel so welcome during this important day. Vendor…

We had the pleasure of joining Cori & Anthony for their wedding on Saturday!  The ceremony was at the Lutheran Ministry in Christ in Coral Springs, and the reception was at the Coral Springs Marriott, decorated by the incredible Le Chic Events of Boca Raton.  What an amazingly fun day!

We joined Amber and Mark for their wedding day last Saturday, held at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in West Palm Beach.  What an amazing setting for an incredible event!  We had a great time with the happy couple and their fun friends and families.  Catering was by the incredible Jessica Wickham of Aaron’s Catering, and music was provided by the talented band Rythmation.

This blog post is very special for both of us… our closest friends, who photographed our wedding this August, were married on 10.10.10 in Atlanta, Georgia.  Steve was the lead photographer for the day, while Emily pulled double duty as a bridesmaid with a camera!  We had a wonderful time, and had a lot of trouble narrowing down our favorite pictures, so we just posted more than usual.  Please click below to see more of…

We’ve been looking forward to this wedding for ages!  You may remember Terra & Scott from their engagement session last fall.  They were married on the beach at MacArthur State Park in front of family and friends last Saturday, holding their reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in West Palm Beach.  What an amazingly fun day!  Everyone cried, everyone danced, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  Below are some of our favorites; please…

Cheri & Richard were married on Saturday on the beautiful beach at the Taino Beach Resort, on Grand Bahama Island. We had so many favorite photos that it was really difficult to narrow them down (though it was fun to do the first look through the images while sitting by the pool at the resort on Sunday before our flight home!). We had a great time with everyone– many thanks to all the friends and…

Lisa and Jonathan were married last Friday at the Palm Beach Shores Resort and Clubhouse on Singer Island.  The ceremony was on the beach and amazingly the weather fully cooperated and was very pleasant instead of the extreme heat that was predicted.  Thank you to all the wonderful family and guests who were so great all day!  It was a beautiful wedding of a fabulous couple, and it was a true pleasure to be involved. …

Emily joined Jamie and Grayson with their closest friends and family (and their two Great Danes!) for an intimate ceremony at the Jupiter Beach Resort last week.  It was a perfect day, and the weather couldn’t have been better!  Thank you to everyone for making the afternoon so enjoyable. We can’t wait to see you in Savannah in November for the reception!

We had SO much fun at Julia & Carlos’ wedding!  It was a blisteringly hot day, but happily the ceremony was timed perfectly to avoid most of the setting sun, so at least we had shade.  The Four Seasons Resort on Palm Beach Island was a beautiful setting for the ceremony and reception.  Click the link below the photo to see more from this great day… we had so many favorites!

Ryan is the cutest six year old I’ve seen in ages!  We had a great time running around in her backyard– on the swings, in the garden, climbing trees.  It got a little chilly for a sundress, so she changed into a super cute outfit that made her green eyes POP!  This is my favorite kind of session, with beautiful afternoon light and a fun family.  :-)

Tara and Chris were married this Monday in a beautiful, intimate ceremony at the Resort at Singer Island. Below are some of our favorites– hard to decide on just a few! Click here to sign the guest book and Pictage will notify you when the rest of the photos are available.

Last Thursday Emily met Julia & Carlos at Coral Cove Park to take their engagement photos.  The weather was a little stormy, but the clouds managed to part just in time for the sunrise– and it was gorgeous!  Below are a few of our favorites..

Steve and I had a great time last Saturday at Lauren & Rob’s wedding in Jensen Beach!  The ceremony and reception were both at River Palm Cottages, which was beautiful.  The weather was looking pretty iffy, but it managed to stay relatively clear through the entire ceremony– though it was very windy!
