Denise + Horacio | Spanish River Library Wedding | Boca Raton, Florida

You may remember Denise + Horacio from their engagement session not long ago, featuring books and laughter and love. Not surprisingly, their wedding captured much of the same flavor, bringing together two vibrant and energetic families, a beautiful traditional church service, and an elegant lakeside reception at the Boca Raton Spanish River Public Library. We loved seeing the theme of books tied carefully throughout the day: from beautifully folded book art and stacks of books at the reception, to customized bookmarks as favors, to tables named for this couple’s favorite authors. (Bonus: we were allowed to go into the library after it closed, for some hush-hush romance in the stacks! Being there in the dark reminded us of the great libraries in this country… the Boston Public Library and New York Public Library of course, but anywhere that values reading and knowledge.) Witnessing the care, tenderness, and affection these two have for each other is a treat, and one of the things we love most about what we do as photographers.
