Weddings are wonderful. Documenting the joining of two families, with the laughter, tears, joy, and excitement that goes hand-in-hand with any family event is the reason I love my job so much; every celebration feels genuinely unique to me, because the people and their interactions are unique. Once in a while I get to photograph a wedding that takes all of those emotions to the next level, and I wind up going for a ride…

A whole year has flown by already? Sounds like it’s time for a visual review of some highlights! We’ve had a busy and adventurous year, filled with a variety of photographic opportunities (work for our corporate clients, wonderful families, portraits of strong and beautiful women, travel and nature photography, not to mention the industry teaching we’ve been doing), but for the sake of keeping this “short” we will focus on our favorite subject: love stories.…

We’ve been meaning to post this wonderful wedding for a while, but travel and our shooting schedule kept getting in the way! After the momentous news about the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality last month, we got an excited email from Lori + Sara encouraging us to post images from their wedding. Francisco + Antonio eloped to New York City for their wedding, and unfortunately we were unable to join them because of other commitments. (Sad face!)
