DIY wedding

Spending the day with Ashley + Joe at the 1824 House in Waitsfield was like a breath of fresh air. (How is the weather always so beautiful in this little town?) I loved their intimate wedding celebration; their personalized touches (handmade paper flowers and garlands made from scripts from the theater where they both worked and green lighting gel material) pulling pieces of their love story into the physical decor; their adorable fur-baby Watson, an…

Nancy + Andrew. How can I describe their delightful day? The relaxed vibe, the friends and family eager to celebrate, the down-to-earth venue, two adorable dogs, and the wildflower theme… it would have been perfect no matter how the weather turned out, but then Vermont truly delivered. Then once in a while we get a couple like Nicole + Scott who make us remember just how lucky we are.…

We joined Cindy + Alan for their weekend of wedding celebrations in Key West. The weather was warm, but a refreshingly brisk breeze held a hint of fall, even in this beach setting. Cindy got ready at the Hyatt before their waterfront ceremony, where close friends and family gathered and Alan’s daughter and son served as maid of honor and best man. After portraits around the Hyatt property, everyone waved goodbye to Cindy + Alan…

Margot and Jeff celebrated their marriage with close family and friends last weekend at the elegant Home Hill Inn, in Plainfield, New Hampshire. We flew up for the festivities and had an amazing time– every time we turned around there was another amazing handmade detail to photograph, and laughter and friendly smiles were everywhere.
