Melanie + Alex | Ritz Carlton Golf Club + Spa Wedding | Jupiter, Florida

We knew from the moment we met Melanie + Alex that they were going to have a fun wedding… and we probably should have guessed after shooting their engagement session that they were going to look amazing as bride and groom! After a really rainy week everyone was relieved to see the forecast for Saturday; sunny and dry. It was hot (this is Florida, after all), but a refreshing breeze kept the temperature at bay. Melanie + her girls (and her Jimmy Choos) got ready while Alex and his guys played some golf and poker; after a private First Look (just the couple and their personal paparazzi team!) we all headed down the the ceremony overlooking the back of the golf course. This may have been among the brightest ceremonies we’ve ever seen, but it made for some super dramatic photos.

The Ritz put on a beautiful party, and the live band, Wonderama, was fantastic, playing current radio hits that kept everyone dancing and singing along. Mel + Alex coincidentally chose “Lucky” by Jason Mraz as their first dance (our first dance from our own wedding!), and Wonderama did a wonderful rendition of it. We’d like to thank everyone, especially Melanie + Alex, for making us feel so welcome throughout the day! We left at the end of the night smiling and humming our favorite songs from the evening, happy that this lovely couple is starting their married life on such a good note.
