Watching people you’ve known since before you were an adult grow and discover new avenues of happiness is one of our greatest pleasures in life. Em’s good college friend Jason, whom she met as a fledgling freshman at the Savannah College of Art & Design, has had his share of craziness in the last decade; everything from recovering from Hurricane Sandy’s path of destruction to creating the tremendously popular Asbury Park Zombie Walk in New Jersey…

As we’ve surely mentioned before, becoming friends with our clients is our normal routine. Not only does it make the wedding day more fun, it tends to make the images feel more intimate and connected when we’re already close with the people in them. Occasionally we’ll connect with a couple more strongly than we usually do, which is one of the best feelings in the world; this is how we feel about Sarah + Todd.…
We can’t help but grin every time we think of Angela + John. It doesn’t hurt that they have adorable cats [who made a cameo at their engagement session last fall], and that they’re some of the most laid-back and happy people we’ve ever known. Their wedding day was the epitome of relaxation; despite all the potential stressors of a day this complex, these two let everything just melt away while they laughed and enjoyed…
One of the best things about our chosen path in photography is getting to meet new people and make new friends. You may recall Megan + Glen and their beautiful daughter Gabby from family portrait sessions we’ve published here; we actually met them at the wedding of their besties Nicole + Scott two years ago, and we were beyond thrilled when they asked us to be their photographers for their own wedding day. In what ended up…
And now for something completely different. As you may or may not have figured out already, we traveled for no reason other than fun and a love of adventure to Iceland last November. Why? Why not? It’s been on our bucket lists for years, and an insanely good deal on airfare and a hotel sealed the deal for us. While we eagerly awaited our departure date, Iceland seemed to pop up everywhere. Photographers we know…
We love our clients, and we love their weddings; from the most intimate elopement to the craziest blowout party, each event signifies families and friends coming together to celebrate the union of a couple they love to pieces. Natalie + Tim’s elegant black tie ball was no exception. Every part of the day was filled with laughter and smiles, friends and family there to help and witness. We knew when we photographed this beautiful couple…
Going into Alex + Jared’s Palm Beach destination wedding we knew that they were drawing people from all over the United States and beyond. Friends and family came from Boston, New Hampshire, California, and Alex’s grandparents flew from nearby (ha!) Romania. (They were a delight.) Some flew in for New Year’s Eve celebrations a few days before the big day, some flew in for the rehearsal, and some were delayed on their way back out…
Cheryl + Derek’s wedding was one of those days that we expected to go well. The weather was decent (hot, but that’s normal). The locations were gorgeous. The flowers, details, clothing… everything was set up for it to go as well as possible. We expected the day to go well; we were truly touched and amazed by how perfect it was. Having a very intimate wedding with only family and a few close friends makes…
Francisco + Antonio eloped to New York City for their wedding, and unfortunately we were unable to join them because of other commitments. (Sad face!) We made up for it by scheduling a portrait session with them when they returned home to Palm Beach, with a sunrise on the beach… in gorgeous matching outfits, of course. We love how gentle and caring they are with each other, and the teasing bickering that comes with a…
Photographing weddings is what we do, and we’re lucky enough to love our jobs. Every time we are asked to step inside our clients’ lives to document an incredibly important day we count ourselves lucky; we connect with all of our brides and grooms, and count them among our friends by the time the wedding day rolls around. It’s a rare and special treat when we’re already friends with the couple before the wedding, before…
As we mentioned in their engagement session, Teresa + Brent have been in love and together for a long time. The best part about a wedding like this is that rather than a celebration of two families coming together, it’s really one big family already! We loved how everyone knew each other, making the entire day one big party. Having the wedding at Teresa’s family’s home in Jupiter Farms made things even better; from the…
We love what we do. We honestly feel that we have the best job in the world; we meet great people and get to be creative during an incredibly beautiful and emotional time in their lives. Overall we tend to book clients who we’d be friends with, so we’re generally really happy campers! Then once in a while we get a couple like Nicole + Scott who make us remember just how lucky we are.…
An event eleven years in the making (which is conveniently their hashtag: #11yearsinthemaking), Tina + Angelo officially tied the knot last Saturday in sparklingly beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. This was a true destination wedding; not a single guest or family member was a local (even we came from Florida!). Charleston is a very special place for Tina + Angelo, as he spent his formative years at the prestigious Citadel, and after years of spending time…
